Contrary to your view, it is taxes which are required to repay the debt, taxes which will fund TAFE colleges, public transport infrastructure. Cutting taxes further will simply channel more disposable income into asset speculation. The experience since the GFC has shown this.
That is where the problem lays. LNP has trickled more money upward year in year out until we have asset bubbles and good times for the upper strata but further down lots of workers and households feel the neoliberal choke-hold on their wages and finances. They have been driven by a seriously flawed ideology which they will struggle to accept is wrong but will keep forcing upon us.
picastoc proves with every post he/she has no idea. He/she is a radical right wing Liberal extremist who pushed the party line without a thought as to whether any of it is true. He/she's views are being consigned by the electorate to the scrap heap where they belong.
