Where you are right now, the temperature is either:
1) above average,
2) about average, or
3) below average.
the fringe dwelling outliars who make up the cracked cohort of climate change deniers on HC - trolls like Jopo and Tee47 - like to amplify the noise from short term weather events, such as temperature records.
in so doing they divert attention away from the far more important long term weather trends, otherwise known as climate.
weather fluctuates wildly - we know this - but we need long term trends to see where AGW and climate change are taking us.
BTW, has Birdman29 seen the light finally?
Actually Bellcurve, unless you live in the Arctic, or the Antarctic, chances are it is about average over the last 20 years. This the graph, let me know if you have trouble enterprising this, this is what is known as unadjusted data, I take it you are not familiar with it.
