The 15 year warranty is being written into that Hubei tender for the MABR modules, which mainly concern the membrane. Ancillary equipment such as pumps/clarifiers are 5 years.
Fluence Aspiral membranes are said to last for up to 20 years.
In comparison to hollow-fiber curtain MABR from Oxymem (municipal install = SUBRE equiv).
Compared to mature technology in MBR which has a lifespan of around 8 years with warranties of about 5 years. With much more maintenance and higher energy usage.
