Hi all, I began writing this before Jack’s post was moderated.

Jack when refering to the Chinese majority shareholders used the word “karma” which in western countries is widely understood to mean the “law of cause and effect”. That’s  not quite accurate but I will use that definition for the point of this exercise. If the Chinese are subject to karma, then so are we.  Why do we find ourselves in this position as individuals?  greed ? naivety ? too much faith in an advisor ? lack of due dilligence ?  All of the above apply to me to some extent and contributed to the position I find myself in. I accept that. I am in no position to judge the Chinese, “Buyer beware” as they say.  Who among us met with Okap personnel let alone Genorah personnel in earlier times and tried to ascertain the wisdom or otherwise of investing in the  stock ?   For most of us it was a gamble to some extent.  We are accountable for that. The senior folks at Zijin and Jin Jiang are hard-nosed business people interested in opportunities. This is not unique to business people of Chinese heritage. The bitterness and outrage sometimes expressed on this forum will not sway them one bit,  in fact they probably chuckle at some of the amateurish remarks they read, and we know that at least one fellow from that camp does read this.  I cannot claim to have never made posts here that were less than circumspect, but folks, we are at the pointy end, it is a legal issue now and the best we can do is to not come across like an amateur rabble who express emotion and issue judgement and insults on this public forum.  East Asian culture is all about containment, not being publicly shamed, saving face, not losing control of one’s emotions.  Open hostility is frowned upon and disrespected. Therefore the manner in which some things are expressed here, and the little in-house spats that sometimes occur between posters does nothing to convince anyone from the majority shareholding group that the minorities are a sophisticated conglomerate. It also displays an ignorance of foreign cultures.   Some people will not like what I have written here but I know that I speak for quite a few who lament many things that are written at this very sensitive stage of our journey.  Most people would have noted the very considered and professional way that Mr X conducts himself.  This is what our opponents respect. Only he and the legal professionals commissioned by our group can have a real influence on the outcome. Please consider your fellow investors when posting and ask yourself why you are posting, hoping to get “likes” maybe and maintain a profile ?   I can imagine the opposition’s powerbroker’s being inspired to screw us more if they read some of the material here, rather than being shamed into concessions by our very own ethics police.

Stay cool and let the processes in place take their course.
