Would be very interesting if they were bought out.
IMO I cant see it happening (not to say it cant) I just think the BoD are too heavily invested and that they will want to see this project through. They have a long life mine here, this isn't a quick buck. Hopefully the next year or so runs smoothly and we can make it through to a production decision rather than a sell off/TO. A sell off our takeover will generate fairly low premium IMO and why would you take that when they have an estimated IRR of 28% and they have been in this game before. The money isn't in a TO or sell off it would be in a income generating asset with a long life.
Its a hard buy atm IMO it may fall further but at some stage this gem will turn around. Long term I have full confidence and no doubt this will be an excellent investment especially those getting in below 30c.
On a side note, did they mention how they plan to fund the plant CR or on finance? I am lazy and likely skimmed over these details.
