As I read it, KPMG has been removed as auditor - the resolution to remove them was passed. However the resolution to appoint a new auditor failed, so I believe ASIC now gets to choose an auditor (see http://www5.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/cth/num_act/ca2001172/s327.html).
The vote results give an interesting indication of how many shares/votes the company has going their way. By extrapolation this gives a possible upper limit of how many shares JBL are likely to gain control over (i.e. around 70%).
