What a difference a few years makes.  Original post crane index was about big construction in Perth.

Supply and demand out of step.  When the mining boom slowed in 2016 and  state slowed the likes of  Satterly etc kept pumping out housing estates and packages so massive supply in burbs whilst demand waning.  Now the economy is picking up with huge spends in mining housing construction has tanked.  Perth is inundated with f  bland suburbs and most are terrible investments.
What I find amazing is the newer suburbs have the worst of both worlds you go miles away from facilities yet the blocks are small and cramped together with small setbacks.  So you end up living half way to the Nullabor but 1 metre from your neighbors noise.
