    does seem strange.

    why would you not want the employee back doing the job she trained another for?

    Can only assume that the new employee has become a boss favourite or is better at the job.

    Does seem unfair though and under any award she will be entitled to her job back or one that is very close to it. She cannot be demoted or passed off into another area without her consent.

    If not covered by an award then she may be hard done by however I would think
    a) If union then no problem
    b) If covered under award then no problem
    c) If still unhappy she could go work for Cerhob and see what real unhappiness is...(jokes!)

    I disagree with paid maternity leave but disagree more with women that want to come back to work being discriminated against because they had a child.
