Warnie, its actually worse than that. You might think an agent has a slight incentive to push up the price for the extra commission they get, but in fact it is the income per month that is important to them. If they sell your house at 2% commission in just two weeks, instead of waiting 4 weeks to get you 10% more, they are still earning close to twice as much per annum selling you cheap on a 2 week turnaround rather than waiting the 4 weeks for 10% more.
