From your remarks on the other thread today this is my take on the EXU acceptances received by RMS.
RMS has the option of returning the EXU shares if the "defeating event" ie the ALK proposal is approved OR in the UNLIKELY event that they received a significant amount of EXU acceptances which they thought would enable them to influence decisions made by the EXU Board they could process the acceptances under the offer as it now stands and get a decent shareholding % on the EXU register.
Your take that the General Meeting to consider the ALK proposal is to be deferred to the end of December is interesting and if that decision has already been made there should have been an ASX announcement by now you would think.
It would appear that the MACE update will be deferred again. How much longer can they blame the RMS DD for the delay as it was originally due in early November as I recall.
