Yes, it will be good, and about time, if we can change the nature of these threads. But the Mum and Dad investors that I am referring to are not anybody other than you or I, money locked up for so long with no say. When people say they want their money back, it isn't because they have changed their mind about the principal thrust or idea about stuff, it is because they find their money locked and resent it. Even after all this nonsense, I still have 450,000 shares left in the kitty which only cost me five years ago 1.7 on average, so I'm Ok. I did not apply for more, because I am not impressed by the cannabis hype at all. As I said, 'Ground Breaking', 'Earth Shattering','World Firsts' like recently discovered 'triploids' don't really cut it, I have seven neatly pressed four-leaf clover specimens in my own collection that I have collected along my life'path, for my own interest and as for all this nonsense about cannabis holding the key to the cure from everything from a sore toe to brain cancer, well I'd like to see the evidence. Just because delta 9 THC, ( the main culprit in all of this global horror about dope in the first place, which drove pot underground in the fitst place) is known to give the user a high, why would anybody be so silly to think that in the eigjty or so years that cannabis has been off the shelf that people haven"t been looking into it. Like some government sanctioned dark age stifled no-go thing, where all of a sudden out of nowhere the already known and documented 180+ identified and classified cannabinoid and terpene compounds shed light and offer a cure for Mankind's ailments? Pull the other one. I'm old enough to have seen what pot has done to people.
If QBL is honest, if it really is ready to ditch Sth Johnstone in favour of a purely pot/hemp based company, then it needs to be totally honest with shareholders. We have all pitched in a big whack of our savings over quite a long time and have also had quite a lot of cash held up as well. This company, our publicly listed shareholders' conpany, probably means well and wants everybody to benefit. It goes without saying that a buoyant company will thrive and everybody will come out better off. But if people continue to say and self-believe that somewhere deep within the cannabis umbrella lies a magical and long awaited cure for anything and everything is delusional. Really. Meanwhile, there is an elephant in the room who continues to feed upon people's ignorance. I have close to a million shares in this company and bought in well before vitahemp and Kavalaris was ever heard of. I ditched out half when this baby climbed. So I don't have an axe to grind. I am and remain saddened by how little we all really know about this new world of pot. I encourage all Australians to pressure governments to ditch cotton farming in favour of hemp. At least that as a start. It will sort out water supply and shortage concerns in this country quick time. Hemp is a weed and if manicured sensibly will look after itself. CGB will benefit wonderfully from this alone. 3million spent keeping Dr Merie working away in his lab really is nothing. But if this company justs remains focussed upon what cannabis really can do I am certain that all of us will benefit.
Without trying to be flippant, I was thinking about the name for our new-branded company, how about 'Cann - do' - in time, people might understand that our brand is the one company that 'Can do!" Just a thought.
Best wishes to all
