The 'sophisticated' investors must have said something like 'ok we'll put in 10 mil but you convert your notes so that our investment isn't used to bail you out'. These people can afford a $10M lotto ticket in the same way that the people on this forum say 'If I was rich and didn't need the money I would invest more in AKP'.

My prediction of a 'nearly there' announcement is looking good. Now they have enough cash to keep plugging away for a couple of years more.

I could be wrong. They might have a door buzzer ready to hit the market.
