BHP re-opening Lienster mill near Windarra.
"A Nickel West spokeswoman said Venus, which boasts high grade nickel sulphides and a mine life of about eight years, will enter production next year after receiving its final sign-off yesterday. Discovered in 2012, the 200,000-tonne Venus ore body grades as high as 6 per cent nickel in parts and will provide feed for the starved Leinster concentrator"
Venus is lower grade than SS and emily ann/abi rose!
How come they can restart and make this work but not POS?!
The Lienster mill has been in C&M for about as long as LJ BS plants have been.
BHP may re-start kambalda with PAN MCR next year
Vale boosting New caledonia mines.
POS could restart the swan plant using SS ore or higher grade ore nearby.
Maybe even buy a 2% grade ore deposit nearby from PAN or Mithrill
Or sign an ore delivery tolling deal with a nearby miner, must be able to get it to work and sdtart production.
