Why do we have to tolerate Attenborough's non-scientific explanation of why the "Sky Is Falling" and "The End Is Nigh"?
I just heard a comment on the radio that really sums up why criticizing Attenborough for his lack of detail is OK.
The argument put by your side of the political spectrum is that Attenborough can't be criticized or his opinion/s questioned because he has been an icon through out our life time.
Rolf Harris and Bill Cosby were icons through out our life time................. If Attenborough wants to cut off food supply to the World, then he should also be questioned on why he is putting forth predictions that he has supplied no scientific details to justify.
As far as I know Harris and Cosby haven't contemplated starving millions if not billions of people.
