There is no way that this deal was struck because of the Lift Capital issue, although it likely has influenced the price, this would have been in the pipeline since before the start of the year.
The company needs to spend money on R&D and Acquisitions and the market wasn't profit. It's just not going to happen in the current market. It probably is better to delist for a couple of years, and spend the profits on building the product.
Fisher would only continue acquiring in anticipation of this deal going through.
