Yes, everything are politically motivated. Malaysian already hard wired to believe Lynas is the polluter, this is the hard belief that not going to change anytime soon, no matter how hard we re-educate Malaysians.
One more factor to add in, Malaysian government going to start their own national car 3.0 project. MIght be a electric car program, and they needs lots of RE i believe for making the component?? So Malaysia gov might and hopefully wake up to the reality and realise they are so in need of lynas to make the 3.0 project works.
NO one should expect an elderly leader to understands RE, but Dr M is good at political maneuvering, Japanese pressure or National car 3.0 project might chance Dr M stance on it. And i truly believe Dr M had deep wired understanding of Lynas, being a polluter, not based on facts, but on believes.
