Out of interest only I went to an auction in Carlisle on Saturday. Nice house, on decent sized block, on a quiet street. Last sold 3 years ago for $860K, on the weekend sold for $610K with buyer interest slowing considerably around the $580-$590K mark.
Admittedly there had been a murder and body found buried in the backyard in September, and the owner currently in prison, so probably impacted the price range but still a pretty big price drop over that period.
