The Truth About Stem Cells, page-8

I saw this video's mention of stem calls as a Trojan Horse designed to attract the attention and money of ethical, religiously inclined people who could be alarmed by her pointing out that early vaccines were derived from viruses grown in cell lines from human foetuses many years ago.

She is trying (unscientifically) to deceive pro-lifers into shunning vaccines on moral grounds.  Even the Catholic Church, whose credentials on being anti-abortion and avoidance of using EMBRYONIC stem cells are unquestioned, doesn't buy that and has publicly approved use of these vaccines by its adherents.

Worse, she has extended this egregious misinformation by going on to link vaccines with autism, particularly the MMR vaccine.According to her, DNA from the foetal cell lines used to grow vaccine strains of viruses causes autism. She continues to do this in spite of her "work" being totally discredited by numerous leading scientists.  Among her errors is the classic dum-dum one of citing guilt by association.  One simple example of repudiation of her absurd claim is the fact that numerous paediatric specialists recognise a number of markers for autism in infants, long before they have had a vaccine.

Tragically, the dangerous nonsense spouted by her and others has influenced very many conscientious parents to avoid the MMR vaccine.  The alarming increase of measles in many parts of the world, with its attendant death and serious disability should be a capital offence for the perpetrators.

So, no, @vasilios, this video is not intended as a support for adult MSC vs embryonic, much as that is of interest to us MSB holders.  It is a naked and dishonest attempt to lure conscientious people to Deisher's crusade against vaccines by linking their source to human embryos and their use to autism.  Have a look at the last few minutes.  The repetitive and impassioned plea for $$$$ to further this "research" is an equal motive. 

Anti-vaccine bigotry and greed drive this video.

Oh, and did she first discover adult stem cells?  She's a bit young for that. Stem cells were theorised about the century before last and were well under exploration over a hundred years ago.
