@tronbirk, Are you or they saying if Bill Gates starts a start up with only potential and no product for some years, then he can expect to be paid the same as his now pay?!?!?! Did you go to see the management to see what they put in their sandwich or did you go with some analytical mind to dissect what they say, or for what I am beginning to think now, it must have been one of those "interviews" which the the interviewee organises to promote and broadcast themselves!!
The company has a deal with BMW?! I did not know that as a shareholder! Why don't they disclose what deals they have with who? Besides, what is the connection between BMW and MM you wonder. So after all the push bike was just an image and BMW is it, yeah?!
The performance targets are not low - they are WRONG. The performance targets are based on SP and they sure know how timely announcements can affect the SP and make it reach a certain target! While this may be the norm across ASX, shareholders/public are waking up to it all (look at Telstra). I don't give a damn if SP reaches WHATEVER - I ain't gonna vote for any remuneration till I start seeing tangible results from this mob or if they are not going to change the way they have been going about this, then a spill is more like what will be on the menu and they can share that together!
They have been asked about their high salaries - initially they denied it and they say looks high because it includes bonuses etc and they said it would become clear in the annual report - now they are changing the story - at least they accept it is high (as high as what they are used to).
but I didn't start off as one but now I am very skeptic. I am an intelligent being and like to be treated as one.
