Board meeting, page-20

Hi Striker,

This may not answer your question, but I have been wondering similar around timing of board meeting.  I may misunderstand but are the announcements that we normally see for the Indian companies meetings more relative to financial results and other pertinent items for the company requiring them to notify under the Regulations?

If so, and the BOD meeting isn't relating to financial results, maybe they don't have to notify within a timeframe?

The trading window shall be, inter alia, closed at the time of:-

1. Declaration of Financial results (quarterly, half-yearly and annual)
   1. Declaration of dividends (interim and final)
   2. Issue of securities by way of public/ rights/bonus etc.
   3. Any major expansion plans or execution of new projects
   4. Amalgamation, mergers, takeovers and buy-back
   5. Disposal of whole or substantially whole of the undertaking
   6. Any changes in policies, plans or operations of the company

May be well off here as the board meeting may be for wider reasons, but as always, happy to be corrected.
