    SK Innovation is also accelerating its move into the EV battery market.

    The firm said it will invest 1.14 trillion won ($1.01 billion) in Georgia, the U.S. to build a battery plant, which will have a yearly output of 9.8 GWh. The firm said it will begin construction in 2019 and plans to start mass production in 2022.
