less design options??.... the majority of the world live in either poverty (and would be stoked with any house) and the other part of the majority live in suburbs and dream of paying an architect to design them a house with Huon pine walls, marble floors and bourbon barrel roof tiles, but unfortunately their average incomes only allow them to go with the house and land package the builder is offering (you know.. 1 of the 10 house styles they are willing to build).
I don't think FBR is trying to cater for the rich and famous that want options, i think their market is for the masses that just need a good quality dwelling.
