That isn’t right.
The BHP can be very low and the reservoir can still be very high in psi (or dewatering requirement).
That is why they have taken a long time to slowly dewater the broader reservoir, so that when they do bring the BHP down more aggressively the broader reservoir permeability is retained and the differential between the well bore pressure and reservoir pressure is much closer.
The fact they are at 300psi has no bearing currently, because they have only been there for a few days. But if they get another 2-4 weeks down the path and don’t see a good build in gas flow then I would start to wonder.
