The discussion was around manufacturing and cost to manufacture given they have intentions to be closer to the customer. The statement was in regard to the closeness of the relationship with our existing manufacturer highlighting the direct relationship and that they had recently identified discrepancies. In that context and conversation it seemed insignificant and wasn’t followed up however it was also briefly commented later in another conversation which I thought worth noting.
Because there was no follow up I didn’t find out if the discrepancies had already been corrected and paid or if it was still to be paid.
The strategic realignment to be closer to the customer was in my mind the significant outcome.
