It would be more accurate to include Abbott's $10b he added to the 2013-14 deficit in his first few months of being elected.
It would also help if the graph showed the revenue increase that was the real reason the deficit reduced in size, because it wasn't spending restraint that reduced the deficit.
Get an extra $100b revenue in a year, and just about anyone could reduce the deficit.
