I remember those $900 cheques well. All my family received those cheques, mum dad brother sister and myself whilst living in Hong Kong. We are Australian citizens and have an Australian address via our accountant.
I wonder how many other families received those cheques that weren't living in Australia?
That was a poorly targeted form of economic stimulus that cost Australia dearly.
