With the latest decision to increase US interest rates by 0.25% and the Australian Reserve Bank looking to hold or even potentially cut interest rates next year, one thing is certain; the interest rate gap between the 2 countries will widen, this means the US Dollar will likely move up in relation to the Aussie Currency.
Therefore any US income that Nearmap makes will likely be multiplied further by the currency differences.
With the Dow Jones dropping almost 352 points in the latest trading session, any short term downward price pressure in NEA could provide excellent opportunities for investors to pickup more stock for the mid to long term.
Patience continues to be the key...
Can’t say the same for the general market but I’m still hopeful a late Santa (or early New Year) rally with NEA is coming soon.
