Hi Everyone.

I wish to also publicly thank management and the board for the recent appointment of Mike Elliott to the company. Matters of concern have been formally addressed and after lengthy dialogues and a process of discussions, this has been resolved with agreed corporate governance outcomes.

This is a WIN for management, a WIN for the board, a WIN for the company and a WIN for all shareholders moving forward.

I would like to again thank everyone who placed their trust in myself, including those in the T40 group to begin with, along with everyone else who has reached out to voice their concerns and their support to other members of the T40 group and to myself.

Rome wasn’t built in a day and Walkabout Resources is no different. What a fantastic resource we have and what a fantastic journey to production we have ahead of us and 2019 certainly looks to be our year and it will take time.

We certainly understand that management have been exceptionally busy, as I have previously stated before, we have stood behind management and continue to do so. The proposed changes to the board structure will only further strengthen the company and provide confidence to all existing shareholders and new shareholders / investors alike moving forward.

There is no denying management have done an excellent job to get us all to this point. The ML delay was always beyond their control and if parts of the funding deal are simply not attractive, so be it, they are moving on and need to be seeking funding from elsewhere, it is what it is.

What is most important is that the fundamentals of the company have not changed, if anything they just improved with the recent resource upgrade and will only continue to improve when the revised DFS comes out sometime in Jan 2019. PLUS, now with Mike Elliott’s appointment to the company it can only improve opportunities and create further exposure for the company moving forward.

The T40 Group of individual shareholders have taken steps to ensure we have followed pathways of least disruption to the company. What can be taken from this, is that the T40s have confidence in the project, confidence in the company, confidence in management and confidence in the fact that likeminded shareholders have united and come together and have not just bolted onto the company, but have rusted onto the company.

Simply amazing what can be achieved with shareholder engagement and understanding who is a shareholder in our company and what the potential benefits are within the shareholder group inside and outside the T40s and the business networks, contacts and associates that lay within.

Shareholders coming together and being enabled to have a voice and be able to be involved in something positive is always a good thing and I hope it encourages shareholders to hold their shares tightly and for the long term and to always vote regardless the size of your share holdings.

I hope everyone extends a warm welcome to Mike Elliott and continues to support management moving forward and into production.

You’re a bloody star @oznt! What a great outcome and way to finish up the year. Really excited to have Mike Elliot on the board and looking forward to seeing him in action. With Mikes appointment and the revised DFS on the way next month, my confidence is now returning. Looking forward to the year ahead .
