Wont happen. Prices cannot go up infinitum without them getting to a point where people will just stop buying everything except the essentials. Then prices will have to come down. Hybrid vehicle technology is here already and will quickly take off as the oil price increases. There is so much gloom and doomsaying as there has been over the century every time prices go up and markets retreat. Australia is at the beginning of the biggest commodities boom you will ever see. This country has untold of wealth and prosperity ahead of it so enjoy the ride.
