Not quite sure that you understood some of the comments made bread, so I will briefly try and help you.
Lets say that someone has more than 1 account holding shares, maybe 2 or more accounts.
This person may wish to accumulate many many shares and wants to buy them cheaply.
Firstly, they choose their moments by XT (cross trading) shares from account1 to account2.
Effectively, they haven't reduced their shareholding, just moved them and in doing so, can pick the lower buy prices to drop the market price.
If this happens enough, the SP can be dropped significantly, and, other shareholders become nervous and join the selling frenzy.
The result is that many shares can then be snapped up at lower prices (Accumulation)
