    No, I've been to many places, redgreek. A fair number of them, both rich and poor.
    The thing that sticks in my craw is when I hear from migrants who come here, see and partake of the benefits of this land and then claim total possession of it, as if no one else should be entitled to those same benefits, including the original owners of this land. Thoroughly hypocritical and utterly selfish!

    Of course, we need a sensible migration policy: one drawn with humanitarian and environmental principles rather than economic but we mustn't lose sight of the fact that there are people outside our shores who ask for our help and, if bringing them here is what will help, then let's give them the same chance this country has given us.
