No, I have never held Deep Yellow, or been burned by them.
No, of course A1 is not Deep Yellow. However, historical examples (and follies) can serve to highlight potential pitfalls for future operations, and that's why I highlighted the Mikado example.
There is no "Brightstar Mine", that's the most important thing to realise. The Brightstar "Project" comprises at least 8 deposits and prospects over a large area, some with resources and others with "best intersections so far". Brightstar Beta is probably the best of them, with approx 255K oz. Some of the others are of dubious quality to say the least.
Having the gold in the ground is one thing, but digging it out for a profit is an entirely different secnario. How long has Williams had this project on the boil for?...a good few years. And what has he done with it?...very little. Without a mill he is pretty much limited to the toll treating option, and if he's not prepared to dig out 5-6 weeks of mill feed from Alpha or Beta, he's going to find life very tough indeed.
