of course, a discussion of that nature then asks the other questions around why ex-public service types still get those HUGE yearly taxpayer funded pensions (or state govt equivalents).............. and apart from a rubbish answer of "we have always done it that way" there really is no logical answer when u consider that someone has to scrub toilets in 2019 to pay the 2019 welfare bill.
How much money do we take off the person that scrubs toilets in 2019 so we can give it to someone that did NOT scrub that toilet?
