Most Crown land in Victoria you do not need permission to camp or travel through but responsible people call in at local offices and say where they are going and for how long this call being responsible,water catchment areas are usually locked to the public for obvious reasons,today around 80% of forest fires are arson 50 years ago it was about10%, we have single interest groups roaming around the country side stealing anything they can damaging machinery and infrastructure no wonder parts of the country side need to be locked up.
