    IMHO a lot of the new control laws that are brought in are as a result of false flag activities, not necessarily deliberate but taking advantage of to increase control

    There have been times when something has happened and the immediate call is for more powers, but if you look at the what happened it is clear to see that they already have the power to stop what happened but take advantage of the occasion to persuade the people that they need to change the laws

    Australia imports a lot of it's serious crime, so the normal answer would be better screening or more stringent requirements and stop the problem at the root.

    Such a move would be controversial so they allow it to happen and then get more powers to clean up the mess rather than be proactive and not have it occur in the first place.

    Actually it could bring into question that fact the government is assisting in much of the crime in Australia by allowing it to happen
