@Sorpa asked me to post my thoughts so here they are (note I haven’t paid much attention to BRB in the last 6 months).
Although the drilling has shown lots of potential, at the current size I think the deposit is insufficient to support a standalone project (generally need 700koz+ of reserves). I was previously a shareholder but became a bit concerned that the scale wasn’t there. I wrote a bit in the below posts about it. There seems to be some higher grade/close to surface areas but the rest is a bit low grade/dispersed to get excited about.
I have always liked the share structure and the focus on preventing dilution but the flip side is that they haven’t done enough drilling to get the scale to become a mine. They are close to a few other operations who might see some value in Bombora as a satellite deposit.
It’s been a tough period for stranded explorers/developers. Higher quality projects like CMM and EXU have received offers so maybe there is some hope yet for Bombora.
