Actually -

So Norway went from 1% to 49% in four and a half years.
But let's not let facts get in the way of a BS down-ramp.

The actual point I was making is that government financial and non-financial incentives matter. Here is the new energy industries own modelling on the impact of moderated and accelerated intervention in the EV market.

As you can see, financial incentives are expected to make a big difference to penetration rates and Norway has almost all of the incentives. We have almost none.
