This is one of the most ridiculous incorrect statements I have read on hotcopper.

Costs are set to start decreasing this month January 13 days ago, so no sorry the pre-strip has been stripped already, that costs is sunk.

AJM will be lucky to be able to pay off their debt within the next 6 years, if this is their final amount of debt, unlike pre-strip which is ending right now, interest payments will need to be made for years to come.

As for strip ratio being a burden, I think we have been over this, but as you like repeating what you have been told like everyone else who trundles over her from AJM, I am forced to also repeat myself.

Every deposit has it's own bright spot and warts, A40 is strip higher than AJM yes, but AJM have a much more complex process to produce concentrate that opposite to A40 with extremely low impurities and a large tantalum credit actually if you break down the figures make A40 a cheaper producer than AJM inspite of "the strip"

I would be happy to just compare AISC of A40 to AJM, if AJM ever actually release AISC that is, you have to go back through the math, if you have want to try that I will be happy to show you how you inevitably got it wrong and why I am right.
