Anyway, it’s a great example of my point. They didn’t build the walls first, they built roads to their settlements and then fortified them where needed.fact is, the Wallis a massive waste of money that could be better spent elsewhere (particularly considering the deficit).
also let’s look at the major arguments:
1. drugs are coming in - fine, just legalise them and that would go away
2. rapists are coming in - let me tell you that rapists are everywhere, it’s not necessarily a migrant issue.
3. these immigrants are taking our jobs - what the horrible ones? Also don’t these jobs still need to be filled - can’t see middle or poor Americans rushing to do it (if it’s anything like our fruit picking). Also if someone is beating you to a job, maybe you should be working harder? I’ve always seen competition as a positive all round.
overall, walls do have there places but still build the damn roads first.
