    I have asked the question... only the ASX controls public companies,in relation to ASX rules.

    in Chile they can do whatever they want.

    Did you read the article in the link... the Chinese are active at the moment but not getting everything they want in Australia due to regulators. Given that I live here, I think that is a good thing.
