The thing about hardliners is that they have no concept of reality. Anarchy or a second referendum - this may be where this is now headed.
The Brexit referendum was not won by hardliners, it was won by a broad and unique coalition of the disaffected, the elderly, city people, rural people - all sorts of people - and they came from both Left and Right of the political spectrum.
The Brexit hardliners are like fish sitting in a pool with a long hot summer ahead, and the water is evaporating fast. The way they are going, by the time this is over they will have gone from a narrow Brexit referendum win to in all likely-hood no Brexit at all.
That's like having your cake, then throwing it in the bin.
May has been steadfast in saying that Brexit must go ahead, but she should really throw in the towel and wash her hands of the whole thing. F*** the lot of them. She gets dumped on by all and sundry - all of them who want their ideal dream scenario to play out, with no realisation that some pragmatism must invariably come into the frame.
BS!!!
This is the rubber hitting the road for the elite!!!
The truth is a hard brexit is the most flexible way for the whole powder keg to be managed.
If UK remains it will implode like the rest of Europe!!!
France wants UK to leave hard to although they will not admit it. The yellow testers are proof of that with all their issues. UK departing means France becomes more important and a stronger source of relevance being positioned between the UK world connection and the EU/Germany world connection so France risk gets minimised and their citizens have more options with different neighbouring fabrics. If EU implodes they can drift easier to the UK, if not they go to Brussels/Germany. A departing UK provides an escape pod!! Make no mistake a hard Brexit is a win win for UK/French relations and trade not to mention other trade between UK and the rest of the world because a UK bilateral scenario provides another option and entry point into the region!!!!
Those against Brexit are simply scaremongering and fools who do not understand what is good for them in the long run. The ponzi scheme is over, the current inclusion trend is no longer viable, get out while they can so they don't get burn't!!! The whole EU experiment was never deemed viable in the long run even by the experts in current form. If UK departing is trigger for EU change and improvement that can only be positive for the citizens within it and on the periphery including UK!!!
