I do find the concept you must like/support management to invest in a Company odd.

I think most SH holding on ASX will have shares in Companies that they think the board is incompetent to some degree or another - personel expereince tells you some is verging on criminal of what they choose to be material,  Accountability is more difficult than you think but thats life and we are all aware of how things working in the real world.  If you look at some of the Companies that go under on ASX you will see a highly paid CEO, supported by the board, telling SH right up to the last how bright the future is.

Investment is about making money and yes i brought additional shares pre SAMO with a view the chance of finding commercial oil was circa 25% max (I always look on the bright side of life) but aware that the downside would be back to pre SAMO as point out by STH so I anticipate like others down a little at present but as holding for production not critical - overall risk modest.

I could say (its not the case as i invested because of the timeline and prospect of commercial first oil of SNE)  I invested in FAR based on the number and individuals on the board (six) prior to recent departutres so if my investment is based on management I am failing to understand why i should sell out at a loss because of shinanigans at board level. 

Alternatively i can lobby the board to up its game, make changes and actual do what it and the CEO are paid to do which is deliver and add value for SH; its not unreasonable is it.

As a final point u have to wonder about the ignore option.  Post SAMO some of the better constructure and high content posts have come from how can i say not the  most popular posters on the FAR thread.  However, as shown recently after a bit of prompting the discussion between KImbo and DB is high quality with helpfull facts/alternative views and critcially informative to other SH.
