I don't think that's true.


Being part of the EU has been problematic for probably all - including the one's who share a common currency -

there's good things and bad things --


personally - I really hope that Europe keeps going and gets it to work ------------ somehow

maybe the problems are insurmountable - I don't know - but, what I do know is that a world or an area without borders and commonality is a wonderful thing if you can make it work.

Travelling Europe and UK without having to cross borders is a dream - what a hell of a difference in comparison to having to stop - having to be across all sorts of different rules - having to change currencies


surely it has to be a thing to strive for?


It's an enormous feat to get entire nations to all pull in the same direction with different cultures, different languages, different currencies - almost different everything - but, if it can ever be done - what a feat.

maybe the Euro was a mistake? - maybe it might have worked without the single currency? - Maybe it wouldn't - Britain suggests it wouldn't work anyway - who knows - but, surely one doesn't throw the baby out with the bathwater

if it all falls over, I think it will be a very sad day


we shouldn't give up on some ideas because they didn't work 'so far' --------- keep talking, keep developing - some things are really worth keeping going for - if something isn't working - tinker - try and get it right.
