Trust me those that started buying A2M in the single digits and intend in selling off a portion of their shares are thinking of exactly that. My accountant tells me its to early to be making any hasty decisions just yet.
Selling and buying back in now reduces the amount of CGT payable but then you dont have the money to buy back the same amount of shares after paying your CGT obligations. Considering the amount of blue sky SP appreciation likely to eventuate you would have to factor in are you better off selling prior to the election and buying back less shares or holding onto you entire holding and worry about the increased CGT payable at a much later time down the road ???
