What this research shows though, is CH4 (natural gas) is probably more a by-product.

And in the current market, where a lot of large gas producers have completed their LNG trains (2 huge plants have recently come on line in Australia) and in other parts of the world, means at the moment investment in a serious methane production facility is less viable than producing other gas products (like ammonia) - that's the thesis put forward in LCK's last investor update.
