@sailorgirl; Tony Abbott is oh-so-British that he even resurrected 'Knights and Dames', apparently so he could grease up to the Royal Family by appointing the Queen's Consort to Australia's highest honour.
Sadly for Abbott and even though her diary was reportedly anything but full, his subsequent request for an audience with the Queen while wandering aimlessly through the English countryside after having to be sacked for ongoing incompetence was rejected.
