To quote from the post above
"From the RESET letter (undated) by Bob Johnson:
'It is now self-evident that the Board and Management have caused the Company to lose its way. Havilah’s mineral assets and its future development potential are exceptional. However, in my considered opinion, the existing Management has wasted large sums of shareholders’ funds, and not advanced Havilah’s projects in any meaningful way. They are simply not up to the task at hand."
Clearly two of the founders of Havilah Dr Chris Giles and Bob Johnson have different opinions as to the future direction that HAV needs to take.
Dr Giles is the biggest shareholder in HAV (over20%), thus its reasonable to suspect has the biggest influence in the company. He has written to all shareholders asking they vote against any change to the HAV board membership, shows he has little concerns about the extremely poor performance of HAV management and direction over the last few years.
Where as at least Bob Johnson has the guts to admit the present management leaves a lot to be desired and therefor changes need to be, and must be made.
Maybe good old fashioned commonsense needs to come into play at the upcoming EGM on 4th of February.
Has HAV management been so good change is not required? Vote against resolution.
Does HAV need a change of direction? Vote for the resolution.
Commonsense knows the difference between Failure and Success. Do small shareholders?
HAV badly needs small shareholders to lodge their votes, to have any chance of changing the present managements game plan.
