No sooner has Swan denied that his new policy would result in 400,000 flee the private health system.
Treasurer officials havenow stated that it could in fact be as high as 480,000.
Australian Health Association is saying it would be nearer 600,000 > 1M
They have also released that one third of their members earn below $50k.
Since we have to assume that those low income earners are the very ones our new goverment like to discribe as 'The Battlers', and the working mums & dads that they want to protect.What now becomes of them.
As the mass exodus drives up the premiums these same battlers can kiss goodbye to their choice of private health care.
They will then be forced to line up with the million other's around the country outside an already overloaded public health system.
Is this what you labor voters asked for ? If there was ever an arguement against compulsory voting this generation then this has to be it.
