This is what happened. After the consolidation of 5 for 1. Gxy was shorted from 2.5 0 to 1.60 in may 17'. Short position rose to 7.5%. Being too cheap Ausbil began to buy all the way to $4.50. With most short selling coming through MS and Mcbank, they were stuffed. Ms and their connections in media put out the oversupply stories to save their backside. UBS helped their buddies by shorting 6%, they could not keep it down, so they did it again with 5%. They were not confident about the oversupply and closed at 3.30. MS and Mcbank kept on the battle.
Ausbil continued to buy at 3- 3.30. Their revenue in 1 year is more than the market cap of MS. Knowing the markets and shorting well, they force short sellers to 18% and lock them in.
With no way of buying back, they drove the price to 2, in the process shook off 2% retailers from their holdings. Short seller have managed to cover 1% to 17%. Here we are today.

Most oz lithium deals are debt facilities and nothing more. Yet so many beat their chest and crow about it.
Galaxy is now in a stronger financial position today than when the shorting began. MtC is producing high grade spodumene for hydroxide and SDV has produced battery grade LCE on small scale. Battery and Auto makers that sign up with GXY will be in business for years to come and still be around when many autos have gone extinct. The longer they wait for the EV flood, the higher they will want to pay for a seat on the galaxy ark.

AT and co doesn't need to impress anyone, they reduced 200mil debt and 50 thousand in the bank to 500mil and zero debt, in 2years. The PR sucks amd being forth right might put alot of rumors to rest, which they don't respond to. They know the asset they have is worth many times market value.

There are three spodumene shipments for Jan at port Esperance. 11500, 1700 and 24000. You can decide who they belong to.

I have bits of it saved but never put in 1 spot. Thanks!

However, can you confirm where you heard (link) about the 110kwh increase?
Musk has said many times that 100 would be where they stop.
(which seems silly...why wouldn't you always want to increase your battery size?)
