I heard the interview with Minchin on ABC Radio this morning. He gave a long winded answer to the Senate opposition's plan to block those tax gathering measures (that was how he described them), but when asked if the opposition would go to a double dissolution election over their decision to block those measures, yes, you have guessed it, he was non committal. The reality of it is, if the government stands firm on their decisions on those measures, the Senate will pass it; also, remember that after June 30, the opposition will lack the numbers to control the senate.
